The mission statement of The Rotary Foundation is “to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.” The Foundation’s educational and humanitarian programs are the tools that we Rotarians can use to help fulfil our dream of a peaceful community and a peaceful world.

Over 100,000 men and women have personally benefited from The Rotary Foundation’s programs through scholarships, GSE places and grants. These are the Foundation alumni and they are enthusiastic about what The Rotary Foundation has provided for them. But few have been invited to join a Rotary club! We need to use this valuable resource to strengthen both our Rotary clubs and ‘OUR” Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Centers for International Studies in Peace & Conflict Resolution are located in six selected university centres world-wide. The 2 year program provides these exceptional students with a Masters program in conflict resolution, peace studies, international relations and related topics. Graduates are already making their mark in internationals agencies world-wide. The program is now seeking major donations and endowments in order to become self-supporting.

In order to provide the $US100m funding for “OUR” Foundation’s educational and humanitarian programs every year, The Rotary Foundation needs your support. All funding comes from donations: none is from RI dues. The Trustees ask every Rotarian to donate $US100 per year personally or through club fund-raising. ...
